Ø The Ministry Of New and Renewable energy ,New Delhi and Renewable Energy  Agency, Pondicherry conducted an exhibition on “Renewable Energy and Energy Conserving Devices” from 20th to 24th July 2010. Two of our students T.Sharan Shakthi and R.Prem Kumar had participated and won the third prize in the exhibition on the topic “ Solar Panel based charger and using small LED lamp”

3. On August 23rd 2010, a Voter’s Awareness Campaign was held within the MIT Campus.

4. On September 9th 2010, a presentation on RTI (Right to Information Act) was given by

A NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM MITILENCE- 2011

A National level Technical Symposium MITILENCE’11 was conducted on Friday, 4th and 5th February 2011.  The Symposium was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr. C. Kausheeika Subramaniam, Deputy Chief Engineer, Neyveli Lignite Corporation, Neyveli.

Various events such as Paper Presentation, Ad zap, Technical Quiz and surprise events took place.   

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY (SCIMIT’11)

A National Level Science & Technology Symposium SCIMIT’11 was conducted on 28th February 2011.The Symposim was inaugurated by Dr.Swaminathan Prof of Chemistry Annamalai University. Various Event Quiz program Paper Presentation and Projects had been displayed by students from Other colleges.
